Jackie joined the Naperville School District 203 Board of
Education in August 2007. A former financial consultant, and long-time volunteer in her
children’s schools and in the community, Jackie was chosen from a field of 24
highly-qualified candidates to fill a board vacancy in August, 2007. She was
selected because of her passionate commitment to education and the Naperville
area community, and for her broad range of experience. Jackie has worked on
various committees and boards, including the Naperville Education Foundation,
several Home & School boards at Prairie Elementary, Washington Junior High
and Naperville North High School, and School Family Community Partnership
groups. The Board selected her as an experienced leader and an independent
thinker. She stands up for what she believes, with a sensitivity to issues of
diversity, dedication to quality education, and the commitment to effectively
oversee our valuable resources. |
| Jackie and her husband, Steve, have lived in Naperville
for 25 years. Their two children have attended District 203 schools since kindergarten and are currently enrolled at
Naperville North High School.
